You're Leaning A Bit, Like Pisa

I hate the American Famiy Association, because it's not looking our for best interests. It's looking out for right wing conservative best interests in most cases.

So, my plea is for everyone to go here, Marriage Poll and tell them you support homosexual marriages. I'm not homosexual, but I support the rights of others. And whether you're homosexual or not, I'd hope you'd feel the same way.

Return To Me

It's fun bullet list time.

I have only had 4 hours of sleep. I saw a 10:30 show of Return of the King last night after working 9 hours, and being up at 8 the previous morning. I thought this would guarantee I'd be exhausted beyond all recognition. I get home from the movie, and I've never been more awake. I didn't get to bed until after 5 am, only to wake up at 9. I felt healthier yesterday, from the flu ravaged body I've had since last Thursday, but I feel like hell all over again. Bored, stir crazy hell.
I think I'm officially going to break down and join the therapist band wagon. Between the depression, thoughts of jumping off cliffs before my MS cripples me in old age, and insomnia, I think something needs to be done.

Uh. Return of the King was excellent. Trying to review it is pointless. It's like the other two but bigger.

It was A's final day working with my yesterday. Sadness ensued. At least for me. A coworker came up to me and asked what I was going to do without her around, because they know I'll be miserable. I guess the contempt of my job is worn on a very large sleeve.

Welcome To The Terror Dome

[KFCC] Letter to Miramax shows just why people in big business positions are asses.

"Don't import a movie!" they scream.

"Maybe you should release it uncut then?" We scream back.

"Well, no....we need a Jay-Z song in there somewhere."

Shaolin Soccer is one of the most fun movies I've ever seen. But it's not the slapstick comedy Miramax makes it out to be. By the time our heroic soccer team faces off with the team of evil, you're rooting for them. There are no wacky sound effects. What Miramax does to Asian movies is a disgrace from a company who heralds Kill Bill as the second coming of Christ himself, especially since if it wasn't for those movies being made, Tarantino would have nothing to rip off.
